I really love my Kything flute in D from Mr. Hoza (http://woodenflutemaker.com/), which I got around 10 years ago. So right after I received that, I asked him to make a flute in E for me. I am not primarily a flute player. With my embouchure, I could never manage to make the E flute sound as good as the D flute. If I remember rightly, it is made of environmentally responsibly harvested Australian iron wood.
