FS: Phenomenal Noy 5-Key Blackwood Irish Flute

Post by JessieK »

I just listed the best-playing flute I've ever owned as a Buy It Now on eBay. I don't play flute anymore. Time to let it go.

It has come to my attention that mass Irish flute obsession isn't what it used to be. Still, it's a lovely one! I am open to offers and have reduced the price on the listing SUBSTANTIALLY.

Nice to see you around, Jessie!

Beautiful flute; if it was 8 keys I might be there.

I assume you mean a modern-cut embouchure when you say X-cut in your listing? I'm not familiar with that term.

Tell us something.: I try my best to play the flute and pipes. I have been coming here for years and now are required to fill this out for an address change.

The X cut was developed with Leo MacNamara, a very powerful and vibrant flute player from Scariff, and Peter called it the X embouchure. It is similar to the modern cut but bigger and a little more rounded to my eye. Very nice.

Do you mean that you have substantially reduced that price from what it was on eBay, or that was the reduced price?

Thank you for clarifying the cut, kmag. Karl, I don't understand the question, but the flute has been sold.
