seller's ID
Note how the seller's ID with the number 12578 can be mistaken for positive feedback. It fooled me at first till I wonder how a seller with that much feedback would post the wrong picture.

I'm not sure that I understand this. Let me see if I got it right.
A newbie joins Chiff & Fipple today, and today he/she lists an
expensive flute for sale on ebay. A regular member of our flute
forum recognizes the ebay photo as a copied photo of his own flute.
At this point the ebay ad is recognized to be fradulent, so the ad is withdrawn by the seller. The seller at this point twice edits his C & F listing to say that the flute is no longer for sale. Is that a satisfactory response to what appears to be a fradulent offer to sell? It seems to me that members of the flute forum deserve a better answer, else the statement that the flute is no longer offered for sale is just as much of a lie as the original offer. I hope that someone can correct my reasoning here.
