PVC flute

Post by Tirno »

Here are a few videos of my pvc flute. An eight count waltz from Alsace and an andro from Britanny. No irish yet, because my rhythm is somewhat irregular.

The flute has an amazingly cool reedy sound.

Hey, Greg. I particularly enjoyed the Valse d'Alsace. C'est tres jolie!

What kind of flute is that? Who made it?

It's in G, six holes. I made it. It's my third prototype of that model. the holes are laid out partly according to calculations and partly with adjustments.

I tried making a G flute with that size pipe. Mine didn't come out well in tune comparing high and low registers. Does yours have that problem. If not, I wonder if you would share your hole positions and diameters.
