Bagpipe mute!

Post by PiperPaul »

Hello folks!

Someone knows the bagpipe mute on this page http://www.barbarrickmusic.com/mute/index.html ?

It should be interested to play the "real-pipes" in the apartment without annoying the neighbours!
Cheers :D

An Asturian gaitero I know does something similar. He opens his case (a soft, padded case) and plays inside the case. I think he also removed the top section of the drone, so he retained some drone sound, but it was also muffled. This arrangement is free and works well enough that he could play on a bus full of people with no complaints.
