so i am still pretty new to harmonica and i was wondering what technique was used in this video ( https://youtu.be/xjcA6PuoCfs ) at the william tell overture section.

Buddy Greene uses a number of techniques in that tune, including toungue-switching and more. If you're referring to the rapid da-da-da da-da-da da-da-da-daa (for my lack of a better way to put it, sorry) it sounds like he's using either his diaphragm or a sort of growl in his throat to rapidly seperate the notes, along with some very rapid tonguing.
