my dad got me into horslips, clearly we both have great taste in music.
their disks hard to find theese days (unless you cheat and use the internet)
they are also playing the Odissey in belfast tomorrow night i think.
the venue might swollow them
i hope they get enough people to make it worth their while, certanly most of their fan-base is of an age when they coult take-or-leave such a gig, double expicelly concidering that the odissey is a barn compared to the 'whitla or the ulster hall.
anyway, Horslips: great, Odissey Arena: pants.

Re: Horslips
Ironically enough, my first exposure to this band was just a couple of nights ago as I was browsing and sampling stuff on emusic. I just double-checked and they have a ton of their albums on there (possibly all of them?).

Re: Horslips
I've seen them live many times back in Dublin. They had a huge following back then and there wasn't a guitarist in Dublin who could not play "Dearg Doom"..memories.

Re: Horslips
well apparently they tore the place up. - practally a sell-out audience mostly all over 45, i would have been there were it not for that DMAN IRISH SEA!
Dad was very impressed with it, and bought me a christmas present from amongst their merchendice
they were supported by some fraction of the coors, which i find a bit funney.
