My new Tenor Guitar arrived yesterday!

Post by Ptarmigan »

Yes, my new Fletcher Tenortone Tenor Guitar arrived yesterday evening, so of course I just had to show it off here!

Are there any other Tenor Guitar players in here?

Sounds nice. Makes me almost regret selling my baritone ukulele.

Sounds great! I've wanted one of those for a while now. How's the volume on it? Good for a small session?

This resophonic tenor has recently caught my eye, too.

Tell us something.: I've been playing whistle for a very long time, but never seem to get any better than I was about 10 years ago. I'm okay with that. :)

I've had a couple of tenor guitars (both Ozarks), and currently a baritone ukulele tuned GDAE with classical guitar strings that sounds really nice. I plan on getting a Fletcher Tenortone as soon as I can afford it...been staring at photos of them for over a year. :)

Hi Dick

Loooooove the sound of the tenor guitar! Hope to catch up with you in early October in the Springhill, Tom's, or both (wifely patience permitting) so really looking foward to hearing it.

Good luck

Now what the heck did you have to show me that for?

Very nice, and nice playing. How do you have it tuned?
Got wood?

I'm surprised at how deep the sound is.

Also surprising: a video of Angelina Carberry and Martin Quinn playing Fletcher tenors. Who knew Martin played strings?
