I have an octave mandolin on order...should be ready in the next week or two. I'm starting out with the octave...never played the 'regular' mandolin.

Count me in... Main mando is a Breedlove KF, but I also dabble in the deeper arts (Gypsy mandola, Petersen bouzouki).

I just got me a mandolin from the Acoustic Corner people down at Swannanoa. It's a Big Muddy Mini-Mo... I'm enjoying it.
