Show your appreciation for Rich!
Rich Lafferty was kind enough to come out of retirement to get the board running again. He's done this for us before. He's a busy man with a level of expertise we can't afford. So, in appreciation, I'm donating to Rich's favorite charities and I want to encourage you all to do the same. Make sure to make your gift in Rich's honor. Or post a note here or pop me a private message and I'll pass it on to Rich.

- Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

Aye, let's hear it for C&F's Rich heritage!
Re: Show your appreciation for Rich!
Rich has always been the technical glue of C&F.
I think Rich has bailed C&F many more times than he'd bargained for however.

- Tell us something.: I play high and low whistle with Traditional Irish Music being my focus of interest. I love Irish music and consider it as a direct connection to my Irish heritage. I enjoy participation in whistle tours, chatting with other players, and learning much from the many talented folks that frequent C & F.
Re: Show your appreciation for Rich!
Rich, YOU ROCK! Our collective gratitude for your expertise and effort at getting C & F back up and running.

Re: Show your appreciation for Rich!
Aw, thanks Dale and everyone. I'm happy to help out when I can. It's pretty amazing to see that the forums are still going strong after... holy cow, eleven and a half years???... and even though I don't play much anymore I still have a bag of whistles I pull out every once in a while.

Thanks much for your help, Rich. Although I never tried to log in during the outage, I'm my church's sound man, so I have some idea what headaches technology can cause.
