Post by Caj »

Wow, that was weird.

I have a baby now!!!

Actually, that image is already ancient. I have a toddler now!

So, I have played the concertina for like 0 seconds since the last time I posted. Am I still a musician?

(Please respond without any complicated SAT words: I have also slept for like 0 seconds since the last time I posted.)

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

If a whistle isn't played, is it not an instrument? That'll be 5 bucks.

Congrats on the new 'tina player-in-training.

I don't know what SAT words are. Some of us have had to take breaks from playing musical instruments for some length of time for one reason or another. When we get to start back again, it makes us enjoy the instrument all the better. Didn't you sing in that whole time?

After my heart surgery, my doctors didn't tell me much of anything and I casually mentioned to my doctor during a visit if I could play the guitar. He practically shouted at me "No." Then told me it would be like 6 weeks or 3 months before I could play again. I counted the days. The first time hurt like @#$%, so did the second and third time. You would not believe the stress placed on the sternum just calmly playing a guitar.
Rose tint my world. Keep me safe from my trouble and pain.

All my words are SAT words. I don't usually type standing up.
Congratulations on your union being blessed with issue, dude. Yes, you're still a musician. You still have your concertina, don't you? Just don't let the we'an use it as a football/soccer ball.
