One of the people we're going to come back and haunt is Luke, one of the boys my wife used to baby sit. "Luuuuuuuuuuuuuke" is such a great name for a ghost to say. Plus, he has never figured out why lots of folks he doesn't even know all that well say, "Luuuuke, I am your Father." It's all about style.
I know our house isn't haunted. No ghost would have that low of aspirations.

Re: Who Are You Going to Come Back and Haunt?
I've told everyone if they hook me up to machines and prolong my life, I will come back to haunt them - and my kids know I'm stubborn enough to do it.
I'd come back and haunt my ex. He lives in the house I originally bought and he's always said it is haunted (I lived in it 18 years and never had any evidence of it). I'd make sure it was.
I sometimes think our dogs "channel" our past dogs. Sometimes Buddy will do something Buster always did, and Buster was long gone before Buddy came along. Of course, they are/were both boxers, so that may be part of it. But it's the weird behaviors (wrinkling their nose up at things in a silly way).

Re: Who Are You Going to Come Back and Haunt?
I would come back and haunt one of our delightful neighbours, who is currently in gaol after making the fundamental error of mugging a Policeman's son and taking his mobile phone. It's nice to have a bit of peace and quiet.
I might also haunt one of my erstwhile line-managers, who was a very irritating character. When we we travelling by bicycle and trying to catch a train he would always (always!) concoct some pretext to engage me in a discussion, or order to make me miss it. I would say "I have to go. You can talk to me about it tomorrow." He never would, or not until it got to 5:45.pm.

I don't want to be a mean ghost. Besides style, I think it's all about Location, Location, Location. The small rivers and creeks around here get a lovely heavy fog in the morning that slowly fades away. I'd play my flute floating etherially down the stream until the fog lightens up.
Canoeing through heavy morning fog is something everyone should experience.

What kind of canoe? I'd stay away from aluminum....mutepointe wrote:I don't want to be a mean ghost. Besides style, I think it's all about Location, Location, Location. That canoe may be up the creek but it still has its paddle.

These things can happen when ya paddle your own canoe.

I think I'll haunt Ouija boards. Whenever someone asks "Is anyone there?", I'll move the planchette to "No".
