My girlfriend's younger son has just been on holiday in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

This is easy. Some of you who are FB-connected with me will have already seen this.
My friend Katherine (who spends every Christmas Eve and makes sure I, the stocking stuffer, have a stuffed stocking,) knows I assiduously avoid accumulating "stuff." So she gave me this. It was available in an Annapolis Irish stuff shop. You folks will probably know what it is.
(hint: appearance to the contrary, it is not kopi luwak.)

The liquid is supposed to do strange things when the weather changes. So far the crystals have all been at the bottom. It's supposed to snow tonight and rain for the next couple of days, so we'll see if this thing actually works.
