Have you noticed how the little knot-holes in wood spiral towards the Sun?

So in the southern hemisphere, they spiral widershins when viewed from above, and in the north? Deisel.

The spirals are the rising - the growth. When you bless each other (silently) be sure to give the right rising-spin - it is different in different places, and those from different places appreciate the re-set north to south, south to north - and you can re-set yourself - it cancells jet-lag .. but alas, not furniture polish.

I have seen people put the word "god" in their crack-pipe and start churches in the smoke - but it always seems to sink to the ground from the wrong spin. Can only smoke a cone - vorteces don't get you high, just put unfashionable holes in your denim. You can call it Calvin Klein, but the cold air gets in those burn-holes and freezes off your knee-caps.

Hmm .. deeep indeed!

As for myself (who belongs to the Stickish religion [the only true religion] .. of whom there is exactly one member) I am a fetish .. which makes me shamanic .. ish ... .. i suppose ... God himself seems inured to all forms of religion .. you are either god or you beleive in stuff. .. or so he said. depends whether you beleive in beleif .. I don't.

(Edited to admit: yeah yeah .. I really really did try the beleif thing .. y' know, all that reading all the books and visiting churches .. talking to priests .. learning how to walk in just such a way to attract proselityzerz ... ho hum .. the only result was a Stick .. and even though the stick totally enjoys it all .. well .. it's all rather silly .. there are better things to be .. being a stick, I cannot imagine anything better .. but I would rather see growth than decline .. otherwise all will get worse than me when I die . how boring!)

Here's a little thing for all the sticks out there:

Life is good. I have found that a stick cannot “make” a good life, a stick only gives life permission to be good. Then there is plenty to make.

Other sticks look at him and say – “he is making a good life” – they are mistaken. In truth, a stick is made by a good life. All others are just pretending to be sticks.

What is “good”? Only life knows that, sticks only find it by finding life – there is no good anywhere else.
