I never read Moby Dick. Thought it was a venereal disease.

Jim, it's not just a venereal disease; it called "old age". Dear, did you see where I put my Viagra?

I read "As I Lay Dyng" a long time ago in college and I think I read the Classics Illustrated version of "Moby Dick" as well, but I couldn't sustain enough interest to read through the real thing. I dimly remember taking a Chaucer course and reading "Canterbury Tales". Nowadays,
since I've been safely innoculated from the desire to read great literature, I just read fluff.

I have read Canterbury Tales and War and Peace in their entirety. I attempted Moby Dick. I don't know why I've never read Don Quioxte, but I vow to correct this. :)

Oh the shame, haven't read one of 'em.
Finally feel like I'm getting somewhere. It's only taken 6 years.
