What I like about these 2 pics is that the flute looks too small and the whistle looks too large.

EDIT: I forgot to put quote boxes around these so the cutiepies in question
are associated with their correct cutie-bakers...

Wow, people are really bringing out the cutie-pies. Here's a recent one of mine:

Image

She was ring-bearer at her cousin's wedding. My wife made the pillow and I made the small wooden cup that the little one is so conveniently hiding (she had instructions to ABSOLUTELY make sure not to drop the rings, which fit snugly inside the cup). And the three of us, all decked out (it was hot as blazes, although I'd probably have shed my jacket anyway):

(as meat loaf said, two out of three ain't bad).

An increasingly rare opportunity--all my kids in one place. Only Gabe (16) is officially still at home. Becca (20, on the left) and Olivia (18, right) are college students, and Rachel (22, middle) is a recent grad.
This was taken today at the Maryland RenFest, and the amazing thing is that you can't see the huge crowd surrounding us.

Adorable! :) In the first picture she looks like she's asking what on earth to do with it.

And Chas, your cutie pie is beautiful too :) I love her dress..it's so pink!

I suppose there will come a time where photo ops like this will become a rarity for me as well. Excellent picture, Em :)

First of all, let me say how much I enjoy clicking on this page, because the first thing you see is this:

Secondly...Caroluna--those boys and their weaponry. Those were the days.
(the days when my kid was satisfied with the wooden replicas, that is.)
Yesterday he was hoping to buy an actual katana (samurai-style sword) to complement his collection of smaller weapons. Sadly, the ones which had been forged twice, or whatever they do to make them truly battle-worthy were out of his price range. So, unwilling to settle for a bogus imitation, he's saving his dough. Not a bad thing.

My 'cutie-pie' took this one, does that count?

We played the last two weekends (allllllllllll of last weekend) for events set in the US Civil War era, so hubby (guitar) and I (bass) were gussied up ( and me, trussied* up!) for it.

Unfortunately, the best pic of us is the worst of the rest of the band, because two are hidden behind the tenor banjo player, who has his back to the camera, and two were actually missing. The 5-string player is a friend we lovingly refer to as 'the Left Reverend'. It was great fun!

*Never underestimate the value of a quality corset! LOL!

My oldest daughter Rachel's bf--currently a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua--sent us this family portrait for Christmas.

I love it.
