Thank God for the lot of them. The wife got me a bottle of Macallan 18 for my birthday. Huzzah!

Me being a recovering RenFester, you lost me after "huzzah", big time.

But happy birthday anyway.

I use the word primarily because I find it hilarious, context and all. Personally, never been to a Ren Faire/Fest in my life. And thanks for the wishes. 6 days to go yet, but we'll be out of town at the time, so she gave me the gift early, that I might enjoy it before we leave.

I'm not certain "Huzzah" goes with the Macallan 18. Take a sip, hold it in your mouth, and try to say "Huzzah!" I'll bet you end up with a mess on yer hands. Congrats.

Does it leave scars, or post-traumatic flashbacks?

Protean--enjoy your birthday and its pleasures.

Please. I'm in a very fragile state right now.

Not for me! I can either drink the Macallan, which means I can't keep it, or put it on the shelf and look at it, which means I can. And the latter ain't gonna happen.

But you get to keep the memory of drinking it. Or maybe not...
