I only included one's I'd bought. If we are including gifts, then I need to add-

Heros, Keb' Mo', The Bonnie Raitt Collection, and Robert Plant/Allison Krauss Raising Sand

And eyes as gray as icicle fangs measure stranger
For size, honesty, and intent."

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

An album is a collection, regardless of media.

Considering what they became, it's hard to remember that those few early CDs were pretty darn good. T
The first three were pretty good. Some nice stuff on 5 and 7. I used to play drums to them all the time. I knew every lick. I love Danny Seraphine as a drummer.

I listen to them now and their lyrics are trite and cliche. I cringe. But I love the music and it takes me back to when I sat behind the Ludwigs in my bedroom with the giant Koss headphones on and my mom downstairs wishing I'd taken up sax.

I got an album last night by John Stewart, of Daydream Believer fame, called California Bloodlines.

An absolutely perfect example of all that is good in what is usually referred to as Americana..that wonderful place where Folk meets Country.
I cannot believe that I missed this one for so long. It was released in 1969.

A stellar cast of backing musicians who went on to become the backbone of Nashville session musicians. Not one dodgy track on the album...

Between this and Bobs new one there ain't gonna be a lot done here for a while...

Slan,
D. :D
And many a poor man that has roved,
Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

I've just bought Eileen Iver's "Crossing the Bridge"! - The owner of this small music shop is a true wizard. He's been able to lay his hands on a brand new CD eventhough they're out of production. It took him six weeks to get it, but the price wasn't higher than it used to be!

Edited to delete quite a lot of typos.
