I'm 52 years old and I like Nine Inch Nails.

I have the sound track to "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971)". I have it on CD.

Also the sound track to "Conan the Barbarian" (which I recently heard being used as background music at an air show).

I want to hear Rammstein sing a cover of "Sakura Sakura".

I have a Catatonia CD and also one by Maria Muldaur, with "Meet me at the Oasis" on it.

There is also in my stack a CD of New Age Fluff labelled - mislabelled - "Native American". See? SEE? It's NOT just the Celts! It came from the Netherlands. How the **** could I have missed that? Oh, the shame!

I bought Shaggy - Boombastic, don't own it anymore though.

I do own a Snoop Dogg album though, but that's not really a crime.

Some of the pop music I like (but don't buy any of it) is definitely a crime.

Most of my CD collection would probably be considered a crime if owned by some of the people on this board (and my girlfriend).

Item 1:
On the first mix cd I burned, a few years ago, one of the tracks is "Is She Really Going Out With Him" by Joe Jackson.
The fact that I mostly skip over that track now is no absolution.

Item 2:
At the send-off party for my daughter's boyfriend--a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua--for lack of an occasion-appropriate standard, everyone sang "Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan, Donny Osmond version.
I was the only person over 22 who obviously knew the lyrics.

No, you are absolved of this. But, I favor the Joe Jackson song "Steppin' Out."

I too. It's hard to like all TFF songs, or even most. But a select few are grand.
The same goes for INXS.

The Welsh lot, not the Swedish lot. Equally Cursed and Blessed, I think.

During some years when I was actually buying music, my CD player broke and I have a number of cassettes instead. Now, there are some offences amongst that lot. Including Farouz, Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin bootleg copies from Saudi Arabia. The bootleggers were very generous and would fill up the empty space on the tape with music of a similar nature. The extra stuff on the Pink Floyd tape is Spanish Flamenco...

I'm older than 52. ummmm...even 62. We'll stop there.

I can't stand John Coltrane's playing but I loved the tenor sax scene in the original version of DOA. Go Fisherman! I don't know what I'd think of it now.

I don't know if movie confessions are wanted here but I saw Funny Face about 10 times and loved Friendly Persuasion.

I tried to think of something to put here, but I realized I have nothing to be ashamed of. I like the Spice Girls and Cher AND Enya, and I don't consider that shameful.
