Repetitions of all the good things offered up earlier, with a redoubling of all prayers, courage, strength, hope and resolve, hugs and pink auras.

Sorry - it just goes on and on. She's well, she's ill, she's well, she's ill . . . How she takes it I don't know. I struggle to do so, and I'm not breathless and in pain. I find watching her so hard, though. I just wish I could breathe for her, take away her pain . . . She is so brave and tries so hard. Thank you for your continued good wishes.

My hopes, my wishes, my dreams, whatever it takes, you've got it, brother.

Her heart may be damaged, but it's not wrecked yet.

Hang in there!

Take one day at a time--it's all we can do anyway, just work with the now and let the past go and the future will take care of itself.

Warmest healing thoughts to you both.

I've been sitting here for almost ten minutes trying to think of anything I could say, but I'm at a loss for words--I do want you both to know that many here are following this thread, watching the ups and downs and feeling a lot of concern (sometimes unexpressed). We're with you, Roland and Lesley!

Thank you all. You do not need to say anything - it is more than enough to know that you are there.

Lesley is much the same, still very poorly but, I think, no worse, which is a good sign as she has been slowly deteriorating over the last few days. She has not given up, but it must be hard for her now to find the incentives, as more and more is taken away from her. That's my view, though, not hers. She can always find good reasons for fighting!

I shall have a lot more fattening up to do when she comes home. I don't dare think "if she comes home", but it is with me all the time. Please let her get through this.

Roland - as always, this is the first thread I read when I come to the board.

I may not post on it every day, but I do pray for Lesley and you every day.

I was called back to the hospital late last night as Lesley was very ill, and have just got home now, (2130) having left her a little more stable. She just will not give up. She fights so hard and you can see the struggle she is putting up. She is just amazing, and still with me, which is the most wonderful part. Having stabilised, at last, I hope she will start to improve again. I don't know what sort of life she will come back to, if she does, but she will make as much of it as it is humanly possible to do, and more.

Thank you all for your wonderful support. I am just so sorry to keep on and on putting you through all this, but I don't think I could do it myself without you all, and I have to be there somehow, for Lesley. I am so grateful to you all.

I am still praying for a recovery for Lesley. I think many others are too.
