Firefox 3!
I just updated to the Firefox 3 browser, and yowser, is it fast!!!
Plus, I think it's highly rated for pc's as the safest browser.
(I am not a geek oracle, just garnered various opinions from others.)

Every time I turn around, I wonder where I've been.
Time to stop turning round, I guess.

I haven't tried it yet, but many of my old engineering coworkers have been
talking about it. One thing that sounds nice is that it waits for a successful
login attempt before asking to remember passwords. In Firefox 2, if you are
logging into a site, and you put in the wrong password, it will ask if you want
to remember it before you even know if you typed it correctly. Then it ends
up remembering a bunch of incorrect passwords. Oy.

I'm running it--so far so good.
Seems faster on Vista 64 than IE does.

I think the most recent version should work.Peter Laban wrote: Same for AdBlock, which is a bit annoying, I am used to getting pages without adds.

It appears that Adblock Plus did indeed transfer over when I upgraded this morning.beowulf573 wrote:I think the most recent version should work.Peter Laban wrote: Same for AdBlock, which is a bit annoying, I am used to getting pages without adds.

I can't log in to one site I regularly use, because Firefox doesn't like the security certificate, and won't let me override its decision, regardless of my security settings. I have reported it. Had to use IE again. Otherwise, pretty happy. PicLens and Adblock Plus have been updated to work.
