-Won "Turkey in a T-shirt" contest long ago for a 20-lb turkey and a t-shirt with an amusing graphic. The turkey is long gone but the shirt remains in the permanent collection.

I won a watch in a soccer game held by a local TV station. And 3000 euros with our school magazine crew for a won "best school magazine of..." contest some years ago. We invested in new computers with nice displays and a huge dinner with the team. Was great.

By being the first caller to a radio station and correctly identifying the song being played, I won . . . an original 45 rpm recording of "Little Black Egg" by The Nightcrawlers.

I won a corporate spelling bee when I was rendering slave labor to a law firm in Chicago. The prize was two airline tickets to anywhere! Unfortunately I could only get time off from slave labor during airline blackout periods, so I never actually used the tickets :(

I won a Louisville slugger at a minor league baseball game when I was about 7 years old. THAT was cool.
OOOXXO
Doing it backwards since 2005.
