What is your least favorite word?

Here's one that annoyed me just last evening . . . and again today . . . twice . . . the practice of listing all, or what surely seems to be all, of a long list of items, only to end up with the phrase "to name just a few."

"The picnic will feature grilled hamburgers on buns with lettuce, tomato, and cheese, BBQ chicken in Texas mesquite sauce, Lisa's bringing the potato salad and cole slaw, a cake will be provided by management, and drinks will be courtesy of Rob, to name just a few."

Ardic, libary and sherbert bother me.

A phrase people shouldn't use due to its original context is "Last but not least" . . . . it's from Shakespeare's Julius Cesar when Mark Anthony is shaking Brutus's bloody hand while he starts plotting his revenge for Cesar's death.
