The Youtube thing..

Post by dubhlinn »

There has been many links here to some of the wonderous things available on Youtube..

It crossed me little mind that it would be nice, and handy, to have them all in the one thread.

So, to kick it off, get this...

Nice..very nice :)

Slan,
D.
And many a poor man that has roved,
Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

I think, dubhlinn, that you tastes are entirely your own. This is, after all, an ITM forum.

Nice one, Steve. I'm guessing this was pulled off one of RTÉ's Planxty tributes that they refuse to make available on DVD. Hurray for YouTube and whoever put this one up and hurray for SteveK for finding it!

Well, no. This is the pub. Did someone say it's exclusively an ITM pub?
I thought So What was terrific.

Tell us something.: From the land beyond beyond. From the time past hope and fear. I bid you, Genie, now appear! Well, the Genie did not appear but the notification to type at least 100 characters did so I am back and typing some more as you, if anyone actually sees this, can probably tell.

I, for one, certainly can. Thanks!

Loved the So What video too. Miles and Trane from the Kind of Blue era were a big influence on me in the 1960s and, for that matter, still are.

Aye, thanks for that one, Dubh. The 70s! Some great music and some strange hair.
And thanks SteveK, I never saw that one before. There certainly took a hammer to it!

I kept waiting for the main part of the music to start, and then it was over.

I'm afraid we have very different tastes. Taste this (crank her up to 11):

comedian Jamie Kennedy rapping about Bob Saget (of Full House, America's Funniest Home Videos, etc)

Gansta-style rap, so expect naughty language.
