The farmer has put a herd of these fellows in the field next to our house. I don't know what breed of sheep they are but they are the most agreeable chaps imaginable. :)
"Last night, among his fellow roughs,
He jested, quaff'd and swore."

They cut me down and I leapt up high

Well, of course they would be agreeable! (And, yes! Handsome, too!)

Do they look like this? Four white feet? If so, they're Balwen Welsh Mountain.

Dixie, you may be thinking of goats' eyes. They're very odd--have a satanic cast to them. None of my relatives have that. I think that fellow in the front was blinking when the camera went off.

You have hit the nail on the head there - that's them all right! :) White tips to the tails too. I can hardly resist jumping over the fence to give their coats a damn good ruffling but they're not quite up for that yet. Has any beast on the planet got a coat that you want to ruffle more than these?

Very handsome sheep/neighbors indeed! I wish I had neighbors like that, all I have are friendly family types... not that there is anything wrong with that.

You are a lucky fellow Mr. Shaw.

We must keep things positive, or the thread will disappear mysteriously, along with most of my other posts and threads.

Bears -- I just want to grab their little heads and ruffle them and go "Wuzzy, wuzzy, wuzzy wuzzy, wuzzy."

And on a divergent tack -- Are these outdoor goats or indoor goats?

Have they offered to keep your lawns clipped and your flower beds weeded yet?
