piercings

Post by Jack »

I tought this would be very interesting.

I myself have 3 body parts pierced: my ears, my eyebrow, and my nose. I got them all done when I was about 15, and now that I'm an adult, I regret them. I don't wear jewelry, but if I did I still wouldn't wear these piercings.

I chose "other answer" because even though I have 3 piercings, they are more-or-less grown over and most people don't know it since I never wear anything in them.

How about you?

My mom really wanted me to have pierced ears...I think it was because I wasn't girly enough or something. She finally talked me into it when I was about eight years old. I didn't like them - too fiddly, uncomfortable sleeping with the stud earrings in, etc. One day I accidentally stepped on and ruined one of the pair of my favourite set and I, er, put my foot down and refused to wear them anymore. I don't think the whole earrings thing even lasted a year.

I still have the marks of the piercings but they have long since closed up.

I (can) have a piercing stare.

And a bird once pierced my nose (ow).

And I once stepped on a very long nail, which went through the sole of my shoe, pierced straight through the middle of my foot and came out the top (also ow).

But no intentional piercings.

I voted "something else:" My heart is pierced --- cskinner did that with her prose. But don't pity me. Nanohedron has made up for it by blunting my senses with his humor.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

My whistles, flute and pipes have piercings. Different noises come out of them. Does that count?

A cat pierced my lip for me when I was about 6, but since it wasn't the style 30 years ago, we let it heal up.

I pierced my own ear when I was about 16. I wear an earring occasionally, but not daily. I usually wear a small stud or diamond solitaire.

I too pierced my foot with a nail when I was young but I remain unpierced per your question... and always will. It's just not for me.

I, also, am unpierced.

I am quite fat. If they pierced me, I might deflate, and then what would I do? :o
