Any digital artists here?
Just wondered if anyone else here paints or draws digitally and if they would show their work. I worked on this the last two days. I have a 1024x768 version if anyone wants a new wallpaper.

I've been analog drawing/drafting (pencil & paper) close to 40 years. Started digital photo restorations 15 years ago as a hobby and CAD drafting a few years ago. It takes much longer to do my kitchen drafting on computer than it does by hand. I thought computers were supposed to make life easier!

Shouldn't that be in the Political Forum? (Wouldn't it have been if it was still there?)Joseph E. Smith wrote:I've been drawing cartoons since I was 6 years old. This is one fropm a long defunct series of mine called "On Our Block", about 7 disfunctional college students....
These are family photos worked over in Corel Painter:

I would like to learn to do stuff like Cricket, but I haven't found any coherent information, or an easy to use application. They all expect you have taken computer graphics in college. Like Tony, it drives me berserk trying to draw anything on the computer. With a pen or pencil I am done in a quarter of the time (but then can't manipulate it in the computer).
Maybe when I retire I will get a chance to follow up on this (in twenty years or so).

I've made a few wallpapers and some icons. I'm not really that much of an artist though, maybe more a photo editor.
here's a few icons, anyone here can use them if they want to for some weird reason.
Most of the phantom of the opera ones where part of a theme set I made.
