The voting ended as I was looking at some other pictures there and I came across the final tally on another page. It might not be that easy to find, so I'll use Charlene's method of hiding the answers in case people want to pick their own favorite before seeing what the general public picked. Just highlight the list for the final vote.

Final decision by public vote
WINNER: JP Trenque
2nd: Martina Brandstetter
3rd: Jeremy Hunter
4th: Tom Sullam
Finalists:
Benjimin Beer
Martin Jordan
Martin Konrad
Gregoire A. Meyer
Keith Naylor
Robert Prendergast
Robert Prendergast
Jan Michael Racoma

Yep! That's why you have to quote it...

...until someone, with too much time, figures out the color=#?????? code

I did the "view page source" thing, found the location of the subsilver cascading style sheet, downloaded it, and gave it a look..
td.row1 { background-color: #EFEFEF; }
td.row2 { background-color: #DEE3E7; }
So, depending on which "row" your message falls on, you could use one of the above color #'s (EFEFEF or DEE3E7) to hide text.
yeah, there's hidden text in here too.
Took about 5 minutes ;)

Too many real winners. Likewise for each of the various categories from which the final entries were taken.

Much as I like the final winner, I'm glad I had a chance to see all of the entries.

Before I saw that Charlene used the "quote" thing, I was wondering if she had actually used a color other than white---like the background. Very elegant! Do you know where a person can look up those numbers for different colors? I know I could google "colors" but it seems like that would be a pretty general term :lol: . Sometimes I want to use colors other than "red", "blue", etc., but it takes a long time to type in every color name you know hoping that you will get a color you like.

Oh, and now I can faintly see the light blue text, when it's being quoted. Fun!

Oh, now I get what Denny meant up there. Finally. :lol:

I was just tryin' to suck someone into figuring out what they were! :)

It would have taken me longer than it would one of the more ASCII oriented geeks.

Looks like...
Even if the play is real tall, the bell seems narrow.

Oh dear :lol: . I should have thought of "color codes"----my mind was being lazy. These charts will keep me happily wasting time for a very long time. Thanks!

Those are the ones I liked. For the same reasons. There are times that I wish that I had a camera with me because I thought, "nobody is going to believe this!"
