One of them ASCII kids will correct me if I'm wrong...

There are 6 hexadecimal characters,
they are in groups of two for the RGB (red, green ,blue) component of the color.

00-FF where 00 is none and FF is full.

hexadecimal=base ten: 0-9 is 0-9, A=10, B=11, ..., F=15.

I regret to inform you that you are correct. :sniffle:

In the chart the hex is shown in groups of three (to save space, I guess), but if you click the Decimal RGB link at the upper right of the chart, you'll see the three values in decimal.

It seems that I can make colors without understanding why. I think I will take the dummy route!
