I'm one of those people. I take a little pill every morning and I can't tell you what a difference it makes. Before I was diagnosed I went to work, slept, ate, slept, etc. I wasn't interested in doing anything.brewerpaul wrote:Great news Cran. Even at the worst, if they have to take out your thyroid you'll do just fine on thyroid replacement meds. I know literally hundreds of people like this.
About a month after I started my medication, I said something to my wife that was rather flippant -- a real zinger. I knew she'd tag me so I started running, and ran all the way down the apartment building hallway. I looked back and she was just standing there, so I jogged back. She was crying.
"Baby, I was just teasing," I said. "Why are you crying?"
"Because," she replied, "In the eight years I've known you, I've never seen you run!"
I'm THRILLED that you don't have cancer, Cran. And I'll praise the Lord with you on that one! Here's to the doctors finding out what the problem is!
Best,
