I think my favorite is <a href = "http://www.oddmusic.com/gallery/om06300.html" target = _blank>this one</a>. But I am a drunk.

I think there's a stalagmite organ at Luray Caverns, which is a stone's throw from WVa. Not sure how far it is from you, but it's very cool.

yep - I've had this site, and many in the links in my "favorites" for a long time.

I DO take exception with the dulcimer being "odd" however! :o
Strange, weird, bizarre, yes...... not "odd". :D

Entirely welcome!

I was kind of hoping to see a racket on this site. I saw plans for one once--the parallel bore tubes go down, across a channel in the bottom cap, back up, and back down a few times. To finger it you seem to almost palm it instead, using tips and joints in the fingers too. The double reed is enclosed in a sort of cap.

Here's another link: racket

Whee!

It is a very neat site. I just played a dopey joke on Nano with the Nano Guitar. Thanks!

I love this site, Margueritte. Thanks for putting the link up. I had forgotten all about it. Check out this whistler's nightmare:

Yes, there is, I've seen and heard it several times. In fact, my mother's fifth(?) grade teacher's husband designed it! :boggle: His name was Mr. Sprinkle.

(sorry, I'm having trouble with the quote function!)

It's called a "Due Capi". I think there's a misprint. This is obviously a cappucino maker.
