Football "soccs", if you ask me.

Talking of real sport, you'll be in Mesquer Festival, 1st weekend of July?
I know Phil will come, and Trisha too... and you didn't try out the Thunderbird last year :D

PS: for Zinadine The Dane and stuff, you know we got TV, too?

Zoob: sorry, I can't make it this year.
Stan: I never watch tennis - too boring - and I hate F1, but football is the greatest sport ever ;)

Yep.

The usual European national teams I support: France, Holland.

Out of curiosity, I'll watch some of England's matches, because I do follow the English league and support Liverpool, but the focus will be on specific players' performances, rather than supporting the team. Somehow I'm not interested in the team as a whole.

Football is to sports what garklein recorders are to a brassband. :P

Henrik Larsson :D

Sweden got a strong team this year and things look really good right now, which off course is a very bad omen.

It will be some tough weeks of couch camping this summer.
Euro 2004, directly followed by three weeks of Tour de France, then a few weeks rest before the Olympics. I guess I wont be needing much sun screen.

Cheers!

Now Zoob, you got it coming. We won't be friends any longer. And you are not very "patriotic" either. Shame on you. :P

I'm surprised nobody has mentionned Beckham yet. When my daughters talk about football, it's always about that guy, the metrosexual popfootballteeniestar.

At least we'll be able to enjoy Bodhran-free sessions for the duration. Every drummer of any kind throughout Europe normally congregate directly under the commentator's box. :D
May the joy of music be ever thine.

Euro must be 'real' championship unlike World Cup,you know, most of my favorite players were from Nigeria and many good players there are now naturalized citizen somewhere else(and a member of the national team there). Now that's funny.

To talk about Lance Armstrong whether he can win 6 times champion in a row.....

Euro 2004

I think that Rui Costa from the Portuguese team is as good a midfielder as Zinedine Zidane. As Ireland are not participating I'll be watching and cheering for any team that plays England. And let's leave Blecham out of this discussion (I have to ring up one of my trendy pals and ask about "metrosexual). I really must get out more.

"Metrosexual" is a word that I learnt from my girls. It's a new lifestyle: a guy who says he's hetero but dresses and behaves like a homosexual.

Portugal has a very good team, at least they did when I last saw them on tv - during the Worldcup 2002. But Zidane is a real artist and it's a joy to watch his team play. They are so cultivated, almost virtuosos. Allez les Bleus!

Hey, I'm a Liverpool fan, I'm entitled to not mention Beckham. :-D
