Mirach's Ghost
Mirach's Ghost

It's dizzying, the possibilities. Ashes, Ashes all fall down.

Space plankton! Reminded me of this:
Paraeuchaeta norvegica, which best as I can tell means the "Norwegian Parachute". Okay. Whatever.

I always strain to see Andromeda with my scope. Norvegica is a Norwegian vegan living in America, we have several in our family.

Re: Mirach's Ghost
With good clear dark skies you can see Andromeda with the naked eye if you know where to look. It's not impressive like in the star photos, but it's pretty amazing to consider that you're looking at a whole other galaxy.dwest wrote:I always strain to see Andromeda with my scope.

I never tire of the spectacle of someone in the throes of trying to explain themselves. Even mutepointe.

Not me. I'm quite myopic. I'd be lucky to make out the moon with the naked eye.brewerpaul wrote: With good clear dark skies you can see Andromeda with the naked eye if you know where to look.
