This beheading theme is getting quite a lot of mileage. And, I say, with good reason.

Look. You don't have to feed a halberd, saddle it up, or hope it goes where you tell it to. And you only need one.
Although I must say that the equine option does have a certain flair to it - if you can get the zombie to sit still while you tie it up.
