I did wonder about that at the time. But I thought there must be some special astrological reason why it was 4.

There are actually 13 colonies of Kobol! Time for
another Battlestar Galactica remake. Maybe the
Cylons couldn't find Ophiakon either...

I know you're not French but I thought you might be Gemini or Pisces.
You have a very light, witty playfulness in your posts so I am thinking a Gemini ascendant or a well placed mercury in your chart but, for the time being, I am going to stoop to pop numerology and explain this as due to a March 5 or March 14 birthdate?

This must be the lightest moment you and I have shared, talasiga. I bet you saw it coming ...

Every man (Izzy included) has two countries - his own and France (Quotation)
From Thomas Jefferson Encyclopedia
Although the saying, "Every man has two countries - his own and France" has been attributed to Jefferson many times, this exact wording has never been found in his writings. It has been suggested that it may be a paraphrase of this passage from Jefferson's Autobiography:
"So ask the travelled inhabitant of any nation, In what country on earth would you rather live?—Certainly in my own, where are all my friends, my relations, and the earliest & sweetest affections and recollections of my life. Which would be your second choice? France."[1]
The specific quotation, "Every man has two countries - his own and France," however, has been traced back to Henri de Bornier's play, La Fille de Roland (1875), in which Charlemagne utters the line, "Tout homme a deux pays, le sien et puis la France."[2] This saying quickly gained currency and seems to have enjoyed a particular popularity in print during the first quarter of the twentieth century.
(I first heard the quote on the Bob Newhart Show.)
Rose tint my world. Keep me safe from my trouble and pain.

I know nothing about Gemini ascendants or where mercury is placed (I'm really very illiterate on such things). But you have impressed me, Tal. My birthday is 5 March. Now you have to tell me HOW you knew thattalasiga wrote: You have a very light, witty playfulness in your posts so I am thinking a Gemini ascendant or a well placed mercury in your chart but, for the time being, I am going to stoop to pop numerology and explain this as due to a March 5 or March 14 birthdate?

I want to say that talasiga probably just hacked your personal info, but he'll get offended. It's a JOKE, son.izzarina wrote:I know nothing about Gemini ascendants or where mercury is placed (I'm really very illiterate on such things). But you have impressed me, Tal. My birthday is 5 March. Re: The Zodiac Sign Change
1) You can include me all you want, but I'm really not a man. And yes, I checked.mutepointe wrote: Every man (Izzy included) has two countries - his own and France
2) My second choice would not be France. It might be my third though, if I can become as fluent as my daughter. Or if I can have pain du chocolat every morning. Actually, the pain du chocolat might put it up to second. Hmmmm.....wrap it in bubble wrap and I might make it my first choice.
But I'm still not a man.

I was thinking more along these lines:
Someday, everything is gonna be diff'rent
When I paint my masterpiece.

Picture a bright blue ball just spinning, spinning free
It's dizzying, the possibilities. Ashes, Ashes all fall down.
