Has this milestone gone unnoticed?
I'm not sure if anyone has pointed this out, if so, I apologize for my redundancy....I want to congratulate Dale and everyone who has posted on these forums for reaching OVER ONE MILLION POSTS. I think that that is extraordinary! I have learned so, so much here and I want to thank you all for sharing your collective knowledge with the rest of us. I view all the members here as an extension of my " family" and I am sending a cyber hug out to you all. Well done everybody, and I look forward to the next 1,000,000 posts. Happy Easter everyone!

Noticed in January (though not by me because I rarely look at the page with the stats)...

Re: Has this milestone gone unnoticed?
Yes, it is a milestone. Thanks for pointing it out, W1K.
From the Mods' perspective, the number is somewhat inflated. It includes quite a bit of spam, which we quarantine but don't necessarily delete. Also a lot of back-channel communication which you don't see. And it doesn't include all the vanished posts from the old Chiffboard, before the change to phpBB.
But the fact that the board is still going strong after all these years is a testimony to Dale's perseverance, and to the enthusiasm of all you guys who make it worthwhile visiting. And that's worth celebrating now and then.
Of course, one of these days we will clear out some of the old posts and inactive accounts, and you'll have a chance to celebrate the 1 Million and 10K milestones all over again!

Hmmm. I remember vividly the days when if a person reached 1000 posts, they received a key to the executive washroom. Ah, memories.
Cheers.
