Arguing neighbours;
Above, the moon glides unseen
Through the autumn sky.
In the land of the iron sausage
The torture never stops.

As I understand it the season can be implicit rather than overtly stated; "growth to come", not to mention the pruning, suggest winter to me.

that seems to go without saying because it is difficult to connote "overly stated" with poetry, particularly of east asia (compared with, say, the explicit drizzle of south asian tradition)

Well ..it's like this:

I really am no more than a stick.
I have fallen off a tree I never grew on
The winter bites others

Memes, phenemes, sylables and twigs

All constructing illusions .. meanings for the sellers of meaning.

So .. as I was saying. I actualy did fall off a tree.

Then where I fell .. somehow ..
became significant.

For no apparent reason, i was handy, and I got used as a measure for other things I truly do not comprehend.

So I just went along with it.

And I must say all the furniture polish, private medical funding and limo parties .. instant entry to gigs with queues round the corner?

Well .. if you were in the same position, you'd take the million over truth any day.

As for my agent?

Well he wishes he never allowed me the space to take what I have.

But .. now I have the space .. it will take kindling to stop me ;)

And when I spare the rare second to even look at anyone beyond the frame of my mirror .. all I see?

Is another mirror.

You are all sticks.

And apart from you?

There is the tree.

There is only one.

You are either on it, or you are a stick pretending to be a superstar.

And as Paddy Keenen once told my agent:

"Well ..If you can't be good .. be good at it ;)"

.. (edited to say: .. but .. there's something about music .. dunno what it is . makes me dance. I'm too thin to be a whistle, but .. I just like the idea .. dancing seems good. .. Here's a nice beat: summer, autumn, winter, SPRING, summer autumn, winter SPRING!!! [ I like the "SPRING" bit . because that's when everyone jumps in the air - a good time for whistles ])
All the best!

I love the autumn -
the falling leaves bare the stick
for the coming spring

A stick is a stick
in spring he grows and then falls
If you are not in the kingdom
God does not see you
Regardless of your cleverness.

god told me that.

(E: .. I STILL like whistles)
