Hy, I want to sell my mollenhauer modern alto in pearwood. I have paid for it 647.00 eur plus 477 eur for the E foot (so 1124 eur).
The flute is in perfect condition and it has a borouque voicing (but I have ever played irish music whit it). Great sound, is the flute that Carlos Nunez plays more in his songs.

For the flute

For the E foot

I will consider any onest offer :)
Thanks

Uhm, I think you're in the wrong subforum. This is the whistle forum. Flutes is one down ;)

In many languages, including Italian, the word "flute" can refer to any fipple-blown or edge-blown wind instrument. English is the odd one out by restricting usage to transverse edge flutes. In this case, "flute" means recorder, which is "flauto dolce" (sweet flute) or "flauto a becco" (beak flute) in Italian. And I'd guess a recorder is at least as much of interest here as in the flute forum, where 8solo5 also posted this.

Just a clarification, you know.

Un piaciere, Giulio. And Enclose is from Antwerp, where a blockfluit is another kind of ... fluit. :-)

MTGuru, are you dutch? :D

I thought this forum was for whistles only as I haven't seen any recorder topics, the only topic I've seen about recorders so far was how the people here dislike them

Actualy, it's blokfluit, without the 'C' :) We call everything 'fluit' here, both whistles and flutes, but people often say 'dwarsfluit' (transverse flute) for what in english is flute.

Yes, the recorder players here lurk in the dark shadows of shame ...

BTW, I've never tried one, but I hear that the Mollenhauer modern alto is a very nice instrument, especially with the extended foot. Wish I could afford it at the moment.

Beg to differ, MT. We from the tribe of The Fipple Flute That Cannot Be Named do indeed lurk in the shadows but hardly from shame. Nay, we lurk, out of sight, to further our goal of board domination.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
