Mine is an autographed picture of Al Gore. I collect autographs and I met Al when he came to a local Borders for a booksigning. He wouldn't sign anything but his book, so I took the signature from my book and scanned it, then photoshopped it onto the picture.

I've been partial to armadillos since high school (and I didn't even live in Texas at the time) -- bought a figurine of some sort (brass, probably). It wasn't long before everybody gave me armadillo figurines, tee shirts, you-name-it, for any present-giving occasion (now, some 25 years later, I still get the occasional armadillo -- just got a nifty one last week from my niece). There's a lesson in here, somewhere.

I made a bitmap for my shareware "company" that showed an armadillo at a writing desk with a quill, inkwell, etc. I adapted that one to be playing a whistle when I got into whistles -- the rest is history.

Mine is an art piece of fantasy origin from a favorite fantasy genre artist Jodi Lee and author Tanya Huff. For me it's a reminder that in my fantasy of playing whistle, anything's possible.

Playing around with Photoplus, trying to make an image that represents "Innocent Bystander".

A figure reaches into its jacket <atmosphere tenses>

and pulls out an object. <tension builds>

It's a whistle. <anticlimax>

What's more it's a generation, and I tend to play my own PEX pipe models.

Mine is a heron fishing in my backyard. He was the epitome of patience- still as a stump until a nice frog came along. I think he's moved on. Wonder if that's why my neigbors now have a screen over their koi?

Fox is my guardian spirit. According to the Nez Pierce, your guardian spirit is also what you are. In the Nez Pierce Coyote stories, Fox was Coyote's friend who gave him tactful suggestions that would have kept him out of trouble, if Coyote had bothered to use them. I guess that makes me Coyote's straight man.

Mine is one of our goats. It has changed a couple times, but always just to another one of our goats. This one's name is Galahad.
