have recorded a few notes with my "Chiffy-hissiest" low whistle
(tuned in unusual D minor)

Hehe... I was more talking about the mood than the tune. I guess I should have said that it didn't sound very <i>traditional</i>.

It's one of my flutemodels (I'm a flutemaker).
made out of white beech, tuned in C minor, manipulated mouthpiece for chiff-airy sound :D
have listened to Ronan Browne, great tunes there !

I don't see that it needs to be Irish nor tradional...

That's good stuff. Thanks for sharing it. I love chiffy low whistles. The chiff really adds something to the mood of the tune.
