Mea culpa... it has been pointed out to me that my "bump" post back a few intimated that Slowair didn't really know how to play the whistle. That was certainly not my intention, and I've edited the post accordingly. Sorry, friend!

Boy I guess I really didn't have anything to do this morning than to read thru NINE PAGES of thread....

Can't argue with the Tony Hinnigan and Phil Hardy clips.
That, put together with Mike's clips, seem to offer a well-rounded review.
But of course, that's just my opinion.

We get nice pictures.
And we get sound clips from different players (different levels, different types of tunes.) They offer their opinion about the whistle after playing/comparing it.

My impression is, I don't have any plans to buy expensive whistles anymore.
I now play my O'Briain Improved D and my Oak D. I like them.
I am playing and concentrating on my flute more, these days.

But this whistle is pretty, and I like how it sounds.
Based on the review and updated sound clips, and supposing I were desiring a new, more expensive whistle these days, I might very well order one.
