OT - Time for a Break

Post by Darwin »

My son called from Texas this morning, and it looks like we'll be moving sometime around the end of the year, instead of in the Spring as we had been thinking.

Since I really want to get the next stage of my software project finished before then, I'm going to have to take a break from distractions, including C&F, which is one of the major ones.

I won't be signing off from the forum, just avoiding it for a while, so if anything truly amazing happens in the world of whistles (like a Busman low G or a Sweetheart laminated walking-stick whistle), I'd still like to hear about it.

See y'all next year.
Mike Wright

Hey, Darwin. Gonna miss your posts. Always enjoyed reading what you had to say. Enjoy the break and don't work too hard. :)

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

Will stay in touch. It will be nice to be back in the modern Mac world and will definately tap you on that regard. Thanks for your help so far.

I will be sure to forward any juicy whistles for sale posts to you too. Especially if they are MINE!!!!

Freeform db, OS 9, and I missed it? Then find it here in C&F ?
Please excuse me, I'll be off C&F for a while. Just downloading...

Darwin, whenever you've got a minute to re-invent the sorely missed Think-Tank (hierarchical db), just feel free to it...

Best of luck, with the project and the move.

Was looking forward to meeting you again at the winter SJ gathering, but life happens.

Take care -
