Whoa! This is pretty hard for me. I am only up to Chapter 13 in Wheelock's..
I think you asked me if I want to speak Latin? Wish I could.... I'll soon be taking my second Latin class, so maybe then I'll be able to talk the lingua Romana. Where did you learn your Latin?
I never knew you before, but welcome back!
Justine
(blush)I'm a fraud.
I did learn Latin at school, and was quite good at it (came second in my class, essential life skill and all that). But that was nearly 30 years ago (OMG). So I am more than rusty. A little scouring of the 'net and you'll find loads of cool phrases in latin that are fun to drop. That particular one translates as:
"Oh! Was I speaking Latin again? Silly me. Sometimes it just sort of slips out"
I'm not one to be taken seriously (unless I'm asking for a beer).

It says it can mean either "Romans" or "prostitutes."

Err, lets go for 'Men in Togas' shall we?

So you went for a Caesarian Selection?
Welcome back! Good to see you, though I'm beginning to wonder what's in the air - lots of folks who've been gone for a while are sticking their heads back in.
Tell us something.: Well dang, I just want to change my password. looking for that correct page! Thank you! Ohh good grief, I get it, you have to be careful who you let in because of spammers, but sigh.... I'm in a hurry, can we move this along please. :)
I am still here, just lurking mostly I got a Mountain Dulcimer for Christmas and have been spending alot of time with it. I have also been taking care of all of these people around me that are falling apart. My hubby had hernia surgery, My mother-in-law had hip replacement surgery and my mother is having gullbladder problems that I am sure are leading her to surgery too. I have been spending alot more time with the cows too since my hubby wasn't allowed to help with the milking. He has started coming back down to the barn just to milk. No heavy lifting for him for another 5 weeks. Thanks for asking after me. Oh yeah, and I actually lost a contest on GC last month!!!
Cheers,
Kathy
