Hope you don't mind me asking two questions with my very first post but I'd like to know if this whistle in this clip is decent (Mr H makes it sound excellent but he's a much better player than most) and can any identify the tune he's playing?

There is a very cheap Eb of this Kerry model in a music shop near me, but it's in a sealed plastic tube and the shop doesn't allow test blowing of wind instruments.

Hi Romeo, and welcome!
Unfortunately, your link points to the Kerry Whistles movies page, and not to a particular clip. So it's impossible to answer your question as-is. Identify the clip and we' ll try again.

Hello and thanks for the welcome
Not the most auspicious start is it? I assumed the link would take you to the clip that was on screen at the time, clearly not sorry. I can't find the particular link elsewhere so rather makes a mockery of the whole thread, can you please delete this?

Not a problem! But I'll let your thread stand for now. If you can describe the clip you're referring to, I'll try to fix your link.

The whistle is the Kerry Tenor D (While stocks last) under Products.
And the tune is The Munster Cloak: https://thesession.org/tunes/1126
