Got myself a Chieftain Low D whistle for a while ago. But it turned out to be out of tune. So I sent it back and as compensation Chieftain sent me a tunable Low D whistle. :D
And here's me playing Amhrán A Leabhair on my new whistle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yocSbMTU-Rs

I got a chance to play a tune with a friend. Its much nicer than playing alone, and a bit more focussed than a session. I enjoyed it lots. I have posted a video on YouTube in case anyone wants to listen. One or two mistakes, but what the hell....

One does not equal two. Not even for very large values of one.

Wow, I didn't know the Jonas brothers played ITM!

Besides the music, the camera work is pretty neat.
I love the internal guitar cam!

He switched whistles mid tune ...he must have had a fluffer. :D

This isn't a new piece but "The Whistle Blower" by The McDades is full of awesome. I wish their version of Rocky Road to Dublin was on YouTube because it's really incredible.

Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

:o Me too, wow. Must be the ultimate way to play

Have not recorded myself playing much, so decided to do so, here is myself playing Inisheer on a Tony Dixon Low G body with Susato Mezzo A head. Gives a not bad sound this way, the Tony Dixon low G flute head on the susato Mezzo A body sounds not bad either. Video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7Lg0wMSf6Q

Also tried a Tony Dixon Polymer C whistle head on a Generation Nickel F which makes it sound less squeaky, prefer it over the actual head. I'll do some more recordings, probably with a different whistle and upload them when I can.
