I was afraid you might ask. Jens, I'm attempting to learn the button accordion and the counterintuitive advice was to stop using the little finger of the right hand except as a last resort.

No worries, Steve. Personally, I love the accordion - in fact, it's one of my favorite ITM instruments (up there with fiddle and flute)! :)

On a related note, I recently got myself an anglo concertina, proof that I do like the free reed sound. ;) Strangely, I think I actually prefer the button accordion sound to that of the concertina, but 'tinas are just so enticingly small and handy in comparison - and that counts too.
