That was great Kim! A local movie theatre is going to be making an all-day event out of the release, showing all three back to back-- a friend and I are going to make it Mom's Day Out and go watch, sans kids and husbands! We can hardly wait!! ;)

Do you have big plans for the release day?

I was driving to work on a curvy, mountainous two lane road (865 into bellwood) the other morning and a girl passed me doing about 80 in a no passing zone. As I glanced over a little shocked I managed to see her putting on mascera in the rear view mirror. No musical instrument playing though.

Hubby and I went to the midnight premiere showing, got in around 4am. I found I have since gotten too old to do this sort of thing. I kept thinking it was Tuesday all week and even took the trash out on Friday (our trash truck comes on Tuesday).

Next movie I am going to see is The Passion (***listens while everyone in forum falls over in shock). But I have come to grips with my late night weakness...I'm not going to the midnight showing.

Here's a picture of me surfing the net with my pet chicken. Her name is Benny Hen.

You carry a chicken well, Kim. It's a pretty bold statement, and not everyone can get away with that. ;-)

Nice to see you around.

Welcome back, Kim! C&F isn't the same without you. I never could get the hang of the other site, despite all your help.

I've been reading all the reviews about Mel Gibson's, The Passion of Christ. It should be a scream! Finally, a realistic portrayal of Christ by realistic people of the era all speaking in Aramaic--no nordic, blue-eyed Hollywood AHs. I haven't sat in a theatre for about 7 years, but I might break down and go see this one instead of waiting for the DVD.

Nice chicken! Thats a great modern/classic photo!

I tried this afternoon. Couldn't get over 65. (dixon tunable in d).
There maybe some kind of conversion problem. Do they use metric whistles over there? Switched to the Clarke, but ran into traffic. Should I have tried a low d? I fitted the 18$ practice with a 45 degree tuning joint, but I really didn't do it for driving purposes. I'll try again tommorow. There must be a trick to it. Were those, like, kilo-whistle miles? Imperial kilo whistle miles per hour? Per metric hour? Kilo hour?
Kilo D? Hecto D? Heck with it. I'll just floor it.
My opinion is stupid and wrong.

Kim,

Holding the hen like that may be OK as long as it's just a practice set, but you will probably find that it will get rather uncomfortable when you upgrade to drones and regulators.
