Tell us something.: You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

Are you asking because you like the sound? No whistle you buy will sound like that. There is so much effects processing (added reverb etc.) going on with the whistle in that clip that even if you got that exact whistle from the player, it wouldn't sound much like what you hear there.

it's really hard to see enough of the details of the whistle to determine if it's a chieftain, overton, or what.

But no matter what whistle it is, I pretty much agree with Loren about the recording.

Without getting a good look at the fipple it is almost impossible to tell what make whistle it is. I do have to say that the song was hauntingly beautiful and I am very glad you brought it to my attention. Thanks.

I believe it´s a Chieftain, as in other of theirs videos, he plays a Chieftain high whistle and many players have "favourite" brand.

I do have to agree on effects though - it´s easy to sound simple Clarke Meg much better than, let´s say, an Overton.

I was just trying to see if I could tell the difference between a Chieftain or Overton. But yeah, he is using a lot of effects, I wouldn't expect one to sound like that without effects.

Ouch, that whistle is tuned painfully sharp. I'd also use a bit of vibrato myself. Otherwise, nice enough.
