Is there a site that assists with how to actually say words like uillean, bodhran, et al? As well as some help with that Gaelic talk I see posted from time to time.

uillean is pronounced ILL-an, and the other word, the b-word we don't use in polite society.

I s'pose for the B-word, we can just say we've found a rhyme for "cow spawn"? Erm, I wonder where Al Gore's wife got her nickname?
AAAAAAnyway, I LOVE IT HERE!!!! I didn't realize I had so many co-dependents!
Keep the faith, my friends!

Now Bloomfield....CUT THAT OUT ! You'd be surprised at how many closet "B" players we have on this board. : )
Go placidly amid the noise and haste...

a BODHRAN played well is a wonderful thing to have in a session, but sadly very few people play them well. Blame the player not the instrument. I know many people who have BODHRANs. Only two are actually good players. the rest just treat it as a noise maker.

Don't forget when you visit the pronunciation sites to allow for regional variations. The Irish pack as many accents into their small island as the whole of America. (I was told that by an American who counts such things)

LOL.
You know, I used to think it wasn't nice how everyone was picking on the b-players. But then I started going to sessions myself...
