Well, thank you, Jack, for allowing my nose to enjoy the morning cup of coffee. Some may not like or agree with what you had to say - Some may like and agree with what you said, but not how you said it - Some may like and agree with what you said, and how you said it - You just can't please them all...

An awesome flick!!! I never saw the ending comig, not even when it ran me over! The Internet Movie Database (great site for movie fans) has a trivia page for "Usual Suspects". Apparently, there were a few clues in the movie. I never caught them. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114814/t...

Harrod's is known for an eccentric inventory, but I don't think pigeons (live anyway) are available.

Reading over the posts.... geeze, you guys are cruel!

Edit: since my "you guys are cruel!" was misinterpreted without an emoticon, I'll say you guys are catty!

I think my argument is very solid and that the Satan icons should be removed in all reasonableness, since the Hitler ones were also removed. Then take it up with "the powers that be". I'm sure Dale and/or Rich could give you their reasoning and address your issues. Excuse me, but Paul Bus...

Considering what was going on in the White House at that time, Susan, I can understand the grilling. They all thought the FBI was leaking the stories to the Washington Post. You were smart to hang up! Did you check your home for bugs that day? On a more serious note: I watched, well until I fell asl...

Okay, since my comment was used to start this thread, let me clarify: I was trying to be careful with my words when I made that comment. I was thinking specifically of an individual on this board who uses emoticons in every single post, the rolling eyes emoticon in particular. I've come to loathe t...

You're welcome.

John - have you been by the Thursday session at The Giant's Causeway in Renton? I've not spoken with anyone that's been to it, but have heard good things about the pub and the owners (ex-pats).

I would like to find some good instruction here in the Seattle area at some point. What does something like that cost? And how far along do you need to be for it not be a waste of time for the instructor? I'd imagine the price would vary. Some people wouldn't charge, some would ask for $10-20/hr. T...

Re: Q about Seattle-area whistler

Dusty Strings Acoustic Music Shop (in Seattle's Fremont district) just published their Fall workshop schedule. It includes two whistle workshops (beginning and intermediate) taught by Stuart Esson . Are any of you Chiffers familiar with Mr Esson? Have you ever taken a class he's taught? If so, what...
